Pilgrimage on foot from California to Santiago de Compostela

We are busy planning the various pilgrimges that will happen this summer. I was thinking about the people who will be going across USA before going to Europe (our motorhome will be travelling from LA to the east coast). Anyway, I stumbled on the Pilgrimage from California to Santiago de Compostela which is an interesting idea.
