Czech Republic has seen its share of racism. We will be eating Gypsy food, Ethiopian food, and listening to DJ's from all over Europe as well as bands like Chumbawumba. And of course, showing that people who follow Jesus are committed to upholding the dignity and rights of minority groups - for God created all peoples in his image and his love goes out to all families of the earth. And besides this, I think Nazi philosphy sucks big time! Social Darwinism sucks! Prejudice against different people sucks! Jesus often sought out the minority, the widow, the Gentile, the prostitute, the tax collector, THE OTHER. He made a special point of singling them out, much to the disgust of his disciples who didnt yet get it. They didnt get it until much later. Too hard for them to grasp. Anyway . . . today should be a good experience.
