Monthly training day here at the Giant Peach. We call this Suddenly Seminary. Debbie is shopping for food, the kids are cleaning, and I am preparing.
BACKBLOG: Pretty good time. I taught them a Bible study method that anyone can do - based on 7 questions that are almost exactly as i received from Thom Wolf. We chose John 15:1-8, since god used that passage in one of the girl's lives this week. The questions are:
1. What word or phrase "shimmered" or stuck out.
2. What did you like best about the passage?
3. What did you like least?
4. What did you learn about God?
5. What did you not understand or find puzzling?
6. What do you think applies to people today?
7. If you were to choose a sentence or phrase to meditate on this week, which would it be? And why?
Some of the people who came today thought that you had to be a big time Bible TEACHER to lead a Bible study. but they know now that EVEN THE SMALLEST PEOPLE CAN LEAD A BIBLE STUDY.
