Happier times with our old blue Volvo. That Volvo is now officially dead. It died on Good Friday at exactly 3pm, when I cut its brake line with a pair of pliers. The 1984 volvo gave its life for the grey 1984 volvo. The grey volvo, now our only working vehicle, was supposed to come back to life with a new brake system on Easter Monday - a resurrection-of-sorts for the car that needed some serious help. Did it come back to life?
Well, not exactly.
My attempts at putting the brakes on were somewhat less than successful, and we now have NO working cars at all. I am waiting for the mechanic down the road to get to it. In the meantime, we are taking buses around the city, which is a good way to go anyway. I am also riding my bike.
