We have a wedding tomorrow at our house, the Giant Peach. Alice and Martin decided last week to get married, giving everyone plenty of time to prepare for such an event. Actually, it is all very quick for us - Martin only came off heroin 2 years ago and decided to follow Jesus 18 months ago while in prison. We like Martin and he is a regular at our Pizza Parties on Fridays, but are used to thinking of him as the "street guy'. But the Holy Spirit often moves faster than us, and Martin is now "Working Martin with his own apartment" and we need to catch up again to what God might be up to.
Alice already has a great heart for street kids and homeless, and to be honest, there are not many Czech guys who would invest their lives into drug addicts. But Martin and Alice are such a couple and we wish them all of God's blessings for their wedding tomorrow. In our house. Yikes - we better clean - and I need to start cooking some serious food. HHHEEEEEEEELLLLLLP!!!!!!!
