
The borders of Lent: First Lenten Sunday
To start, pilgrims must leave home. You can plan for the journey as much as you want. But until you leave you’re a wannabee. At some point you have to stand up, grab your bag, close the front door and set out. As you step across the front door, you cross a border. You cross from comfort to unknown, from security to adventure.
Today, make a list of what borders you are facing, what front doors you need to close.
