"HOPE.21 historic conference in Budapest.
Never before are we meeting quite in this way as European evangelicals ? with some 25 network consultations around the city on Sunday 28 April and Monday 29 April, and in simultaneous country and regional groups on Tuesday 30 April.
Neither have we ever gathered on this scale - from 35 European countries - to take an honest look at Europe's spiritual condition, as we will do each evening in the Budapest Congress Centre.
Biblical "hope" is Europe's greatest need at the start of the 21st century. But what does that mean concretely? May the God of hope give us insight and answers over these special days - and in the years to come.
May HOPE.21 send ripples of faith and vision out across the continent, and stir in us all a fresh sense of responsibility towards shaping Europe's future...together!"
MY THOUGHT: Good spiel but it doesnt mention the natural spas with old men playing chess in their speedos. Guess where I am going to be? Anyone for chess?
