Wisdom sent to me this morning from E.B. Brooks
Folks,
In a little publication I get periodically called CONTEXT, I read the following and felt it worth sharing:
Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury said, regarding prayer, the Orthodox writers call it "gathering into the heart," the Western writers call it "the simplification of heart in prayer. It is just that "...we simply become what we are and just sit there being a creature in the hand of God."
Prayer is for us simple folks.
