Perth went really well. Thanks to Bruce my brother in law who is sitting next to now. Off to Brisbane tomorrow.

Ansett from Perth to Sydney. I am flying on one of the last Ansett Airlines flights. In 2 days the company will not exist. The flight attendants take photos of us and themselves. One of them invites me to see the flight cockpit. Most of them are teary eyed. It is a very emotional flight. I am reminded that the chaos of our present topsy turvy world has casulties. It is not just about takovers and bankruptcies, logistics and numbers, but also has the human side of lost jobs and disappointed people and families bearing the grunt of the transitions in thier own homes and lives.
