Had a good day of rest with the family today. I was thinking a lot about the Kings and their responsibilties. I read the last part of Proverbs in the Bible where it says that king should give a voice to the voiceless, give justice to the oppressed and poor, bring stability to their nations, not be addicted to wine, etc.
This is good timing for me - wisdom I need to hear - since I am trying to write a book and need some counsel as to what its purpose is - I think it needs to be a kingly book - accomplish the kingly purposes that I just mentioned.
Speaking of kingly, I had a kingly meal today with my family at a 600 year old brew-pub here in Prague. I ate the roasted pork knee joint. Excellent.
